Boonville’s first-ever Battle of the Bands is calling all local and regional bands to bring their best sound, stage presence, and raw talent.
Whether you’re a rock powerhouse, an indie sensation, or a genre-defying group, this is your chance to win big and make your mark on Porchfest.
Annual Woodsmen’s 10k (6.2 Miles) Foot Race & Woodsmen’s Walk Begins. Race starts and ends in the Adirondack Sr. HS parking lot. Participants may pre-register from 4:00 PM-5:30 PM prior to the race. Computerized timing. Applications available on RunSignup.com. Event hosted and managed by the Toepath Trekkers.
Beards Contest on the Fairgrounds in front of the Stage. Brothers of the Brush may pre-register at 6 PM. Please use school entrance gate and parking lot. Free parking and free admission.

NYS Woodsmen’s Field Days Parade. Largest forest industry parade in Northeast; featuring equipment, bands, floats, and VIP’s. Plaque presentation to Honorary Grand Parade Marshal. Opening ceremonies immediately following parade.
Boonville’s first-ever Sound-Off: Marching Band Battle is where the energy, precision, and power of parade bands get their moment in the spotlight. After marching in the Woodsmen Field Days Parade, competing bands will assemble and battle it out in an electrifying showdown to see who can bring the best sound, coordination, and crowd engagement.
World’s Open Lumberjill Championship Contests Log Rolling, Chainsawing, Axe Throw, Two-woman Crosscut, Jack & Jill Crosscut, Bow Sawing, Horizontal Log Chop, One-woman Crosscut, Speed Chopping & Fire Building. Naming of World’s Open Champion Lumberjill. Sponsored by Stihl.
